Rosie Phillips Dursse, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Jules A. Dursse entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 17, 2021. A private Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street with interment following Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Rosie was born June 10, 1931 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of George D. Phillips and Kalliopi Brouzou Phillips. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity and a volunteer for the Reverend Nicholas C. Trivelas Library.
Rosie is survived by her sister, Anna Melissas of Charleston, SC; niece, Karen Melissas of Charleston, SC; three nephews: Leon A. Melissas (Mary Tena) of Atlanta, GA, George Melissas of Charleston, SC and Andy Melissas of Atlanta, GA.
