Rosemary "Rosie" Virginia Leonard Spencer

Rosemary Virginia Leonard Spencer, 87, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Rosemary was born October 26, 1936 in Sucarnoochee, Mississippi, daughter of the late Clarence Arnold Leonard and the late Bessie Joyner Leonard. She loved selling things, like Tupperware, Mary Kay and even earned a pink Cadillac. Rosie worked at Standard Oil, C&S National Bank, Dominos Sugar, AVCO-lycoming and her last job was at SCE&G. She was very active in her church. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Charleston. 

She is survived by nephews, Leonard O. Paul of North Charleston, SC and Neil Paul (Alice) of Columbia, SC; great nieces and nephews, Neil Paul, Jr. (Michelle) of Anderson, SC, Nancy O' Connell (John) of Summerville, Trevor Paul (Tuesdee) of Irmo, SC, Megan Paul of Columbia, SC; great great nieces and nephews, Daniel O'Connell, Paul O' Connell, Lydia Brown and Layla Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Ted Leonard; and sister, Lydia Paul.
