Rose M. White, 80, of North Charleston, South Carolina, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 in the Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1106 Fort Drive at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at a later date in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Rose was born April 14, 1936 in Leominster, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Phillip Vezina and the late Yvonne Fortier Vezina.

After a lifetime of hard work and raising her children, Rose's greatest joy came from her work with the children and staff at Divine Redeemer Catholic School in Hanahan, SC. The memories of those days endured beyond all others and brought her joy and comfort to the end of her days.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Michael White, Rose Virginia (Bobby) Dempsey, Diane Hickman, and Linda (Ron) Carmack; four grandchildren, Christy, B.J., Brian, and Shannon; four great-grandchildren, Evan, Julia, Abby, and Anna; sister, Claire Clark; and two brothers, Phillip Armand Vezina, Jr. and Leo Vezina.

She was predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Vezina.
