Rose Elizabeth Kennedy, 82, of North Charleston, SC, widow of Robert Emmet Kennedy entered into eternal rest Friday, October 10, 2014. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 10:00 am, in Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road. Inurnment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, No. Charleston. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
Rose was born October 30, 1931 in Hemel Hempstend, Hertfordshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wheeler and Lou Wheeler. She was a Civil Service data processing manager with the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Rose was a member of Cathedral of Praise and formerly a member of The Praise Team and Choir. she was a member of Cathedral Classics and the Women's Quilting Club. Rose was a prayer warrior and loved people. She will be greatly missed by her family, church family and friends. Mom and Dad are together rejoicing in heaven.
She is survived by her two daughters, Bobbi Jean Karras of Hudson, WI and Vivian Rooke-Johnson of Scott Township, PA; son, William Francis Kennedy, Sr. of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren: Jolene Karras Fitzsimmons of Ocala, FL, Alissa Karras Deneen of Hudson, WI, Rachel Karras of Hudson, WI, Nathan Robert Karras of Hudson, WI, William Francis Kennedy Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, Casey Mangnall of OR; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Allison Rooke of OR.
