Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 13, 2010, Rose Azalea Hughes Green, widow of Lt. Colonel Charles Irvin Green, US Air Force (Ret.) Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in The Second Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at two o'clock. Burial, Churchyard. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Tuesday, between five-thirty and seven-thirty o'clock.

Mrs. Green was born November 24, 1923 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Leon Hughes, Sr. and Lula May Crosby Hughes.   She was a graduate of North Charleston High School. She was a life long member of The Second Presbyterian Church.  Mrs. Green was a retired cosmetologist.

She is survived by two daughters: Johanna Kane of Miami, FL and Christl McSwiggan of Hollywood, FL; one brother: Leon Hughes, Jr. and his wife Fran of Charleston, SC; one nephew: Leon Hughes, III; one niece: Roseanne H. Gutmann.
