Rosalind Royall Rottler, 95, of James Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 23, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held at the graveside on Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, at 3:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel.
Rosalind was born in West Chester County, PA in 1927, and went to meet her Lord and Savior at the age of ninety-five, following the passing of her sister Libby March (husband Russell), and her brother John Jackson (wife Lois)
She is survived by her sister, Jeanette J. Jackson; her sons, Carson Lee Rottler and Charles Ray Rottler (Yvonne); her dauthers, Rosalie Parks (Daniel), Rachel Thomas (Tommy), and Nancy Brett (Andrew). She also had 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren whom she loved very much.
Rosalind was a missionary to Argentina in the fifties and returned to the states in 1960. Rosalind Rottler was a well-known school teacher who served in private and in public schools for thirty-three years, in Charleston County. She taught at Porter Military Academy, Harborview Elementary, and Stiles Point Elementary, on James Island. Rosalind was a faithful member at Northside Baptist Church in North Charleston, and later at Grace Bible Church in Mt. Pleasant, until she could no longer drive, then virtually attended Crossroads Baptist Church, Fox Mountain Road, NC, via the internet and hosted a ladies prayer group weekly until her passing. Rosalind was a friend to many and led a life of faithful service.
