Rosalie R. Simons

Rosalie Ruschmeyer Simons, 92, wife of the late Lewis Simons of Sullivan's Island, SC passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Rosalie Simons are invited to a "Celebration of Her Life" on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 4:00 PM. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Simons was born April 29, 1918 in Savannah, Georgia.  She was an artist painting landscapes and portraits in oil, worked in ceramics and was a founding member of the Mt. Pleasant Artist Guild.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the "Battery Gadsden", C/O, Sullivan's Island Town Hall, P.O. Box 427, Sullivan's Island, SC  29482.
