Rosalia Giovaneli Adelsflugel, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Albert B. Adelsflugel entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 13, 2017. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 17, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 712 Wappoo Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens.
Rosalia was born September 29, 1928 in Bahia Blanca, Argentina, daughter of the late Lucio Giovaneli and Rosalia Faustina Rodriguez Giovaneli. She was a school teacher for 50 years, both in Argentina and in the United States including Trident Tech, The Citadel and other schools in Charleston County. Rosalia was a former member of Yeamans Park Presbyterian Church and a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Eric Adelsflugel, and Norman Adelsflugel (Jennifer) all of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren, Christopher Adelsflugel, Amelia Adelsflugel. She is predeceased by her son, Gustavo Adelsflugel.
