Rosa May Conquest Griffith, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of William Griffith, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 10:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel.
Rosa was born September 27, 1920 in Logan County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Richard Conquest and Bessie Page Conquest. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Richard Moore of Charleston, SC; daughter, Betty Verschueren of Port St. Lucie, FL; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in memory of Rosa to Hospice of Charleston, 4975 LaCross Road, Suite 200, North Charleston, SC 29406-6531.
