Ronald Wayne Taylor, 65, of Huger, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Tuesday, December 26, 2023. His memorial service will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 in J. Henry Stuhr Mt Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 5:00PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. 

Ronald was born July 23, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Julian  Taylor and the late Ruth Dyches Taylor. He was a 1977 graduate of Wando High School and worked for his Dad at Taylor's Texaco Station on Coleman Blvd until  the station closed in 1986. He worked as a mechanic for many years and for Arnold's Automotive until health issues caused him to retire. He was a devoted drag race fan, loved his shrimp dinner at Blue's on Hwy 41 and visiting with friends. He had a wealth of hobbies including die cast collections, peddle car and airplane collections, Hess trucks and his cats. Ronald enjoyed going to races with his friends, his granddaughter Tatum's dirt bike races. His three grandchildren were the delight of his life. He loved life and being able to go and do as he wanted when he wanted. 

He is survived by his son, Andrew W. Taylor (Brittany) of Huger, SC, daughter, Jessica Taylor of North Augusta, SC, sister, Joan Dumont (Roger) of Mount Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren; Emmie, Tatum and Rocker. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Teresa, twin brother Donald, brother Johnny and niece Marcey.
