Ronald Paul Sanchez

Ronald Paul Sanchez, 47, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Joel O'Sullivan died Friday, August 11, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:00 pm. Entombment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Ron was born May 19, 1970 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, son of Natalia Martinez and the late Anastacio Sanchez. He was the owner of Managed Production Services, LLC, a shipping logistics company. He was raised in the Catholic Church and was most recently a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC.

Ron was a loving husband and father. He was generous, kind and charitable with his time and talents. He was deeply committed to his family and his work, and was a very motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit. He enjoyed a wry sense of humor and was affectionately known as a prankster among his family and friends.

He is survived by his husband and partner of 23 years, and their daughter, McKayla "Noodle" Emma O'Sullivan, of Mount Pleasant, SC; his mother Natalia Sanchez of Hatch, New Mexico; his brother, Anastacio L. Sanchez (Darla) of Alamorgordo, NM, and Christopher R. Sanchez (Anneliese) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his sister, Natalia Erica Martinez (Adrian) of Arrey, NM; 15 nieces and nephews, and 7 great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his in-laws, Larry and Brenda O'Sullivan of Campobello, SC, and his maternal grandmother, Hilda Martinez of Hatch, New Mexico .
