Ronald "Ronnie" Steve Garmon, 75, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Pamela Kaye Garmon, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 21, 2026. A Celebration of life will be held at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 5:30 PM. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service.

Ronnie was born September 11, 1950, in Concord, North Carolina, son of the late Clarence Avery Garmon and the late Onnie Marie Rimer Garmon. "He will be remembered for his impeccable cooking skills—especially his smoked BBQ, chicken and ribs—his construction and renovation projects, and his love for his family and friends. He truly never met a stranger, always ready to strike up a conversation or share a joke in any and every situation."

He is survived by his wife, Pam Kaye Garmon of Charleston; his daughters, Leigh Garmon Morillo (Donald) and Lauren Garmon Beckley (David); his son John Perry (Lindsay); and his six grandchildren, Cooper Morillo, Owen Morillo, Payton Beckley, Tanner Beckley, Sydney Grace Beckley, and Emma Perry. He also leaves behind his three sisters, Delorce Bennett, Carol Adams, and Linda Nance; his mother-in-law, Sandy Skinner; his brothers-in-law, Doug Tooker (Tracie) and Tom Tooker (Fernando); and several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bill Bennett; his sister, Brenda Turner; and his brothers, Gary Garmon, Barry Garmon, Donnie Garmon, and John Garmon.

"In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or MUSC Foundation (designated for heart research)."
