Ronald Oscar Greene

Ron (Rev. Dr. Ronald Oscar) Greene, aged 76, passed away in the early hours of Sunday April 14th, 2024 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston. A resident of Seabrook Island, Ron had settled in the low country with his wife, Lyna Michel, in 2019 following his retirement from a 39 year career in the United Methodist Church. Ron was a deeply beloved husband, father, brother, and counselor to many. He served as a steadying voice of grace, who touched thousands of hearts throughout his life.

 A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday June 1st, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Charleston, located at 60 Wentworth St. (parking garage across street at 69 Wentworth St.).
