Ronald Thomas Dukes, 69, of Rantowles, South Carolina, husband of Pamela Jean Dukes, entered into eternal rest Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Ronald was born October 21, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Francis Osburn Dukes and Ethel Cordray Dukes. Ronald was a man of many trades. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for over 30 years as a locomotive engineer. He was an experienced carpenter who made unique peices of furniture for the friends and family he loved so much. He was also an avid motorcyclist who spent many years riding his Harley Davidson Fatboy. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend to many. He took great pride in caring for and cooking wonderful meals in his cook shed for all of the family and friends he loved so much.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Dylan Dukes (Adrianne) of Summerville, SC, Brian Morros of Hanahan, SC; daughter and baby girl, Samantha Davis of Summerville, SC; six grandchildren, Blake, Rilee, Elias, Connor, Zeke, and Laney Jean; brother-in-law, Mike Lever (Alma) of Hollywood, SC; sister-in-law, Sandy Lever of Hollywood, SC; and beloved dogs, Sadie and Bella. He also had several brothers and sisters.
