Ronald Sellers Brooks, 86, of Hanahan, SC, husband of Emma Stephens Brooks entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 10, 2022. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Ron was born August 12, 1936 in Roanoke, VA, son of the late John Brooks and Ruth Erline Miller.  He was the successful owner of Yamaha Suzuki Sea Doo of Charleston for over 40 years.  Ron faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years; son, Steve Brooks; sisters, Coleen Mitchum and Carol Lester; granddaughters Nicole Scurry (Jay), Brooke Salais (Moses), Megan Hinson and Allie Brooks; six great-grandchildren, Joshua Scurry, Emma Salais, Ben Salais, Eleanor Salais, Tyler Hinson and Karter Hinson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen and grandson, Ethan.
