Romona Lisa Workman, 56, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of Ned Wilson Workman, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 23, 2022. Her graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
 
Romona was born May 11, 1966 in Sumter, South Carolina, daughter of the late Pat Watson and Ilona Fesche Watson. She was a Registered Nurse at Roper Hospital in the ER for sixteen years. She was kind and nurturing to all that she met and was known for her outpouring of love and affection.  She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed gardening and crocheting but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.  
 
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Ashley Lauren Workman, and a sister, Patricia Watson Clanton. She was predeceased by her son Brandon Charles Workman. She is also survived by her two nieces, Caylee Ella and Caroline Elizabeth Clanton who endearingly called her Tante Monuts. She is also survived my her many family members in Germany as well as her husbands family members residing in Ohio.
