Rollin "Ed" Edward Grier, 77, of North Charleston, SC, widower of Linda Sims Grier entered into eternal rest Monday, January 18, 2021. His Graveside Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
Ed was born September 26, 1943 in Hemmingway, SC, son of the late Burnice Edward Grier and the late Nadine Williams Grier. He was a retired Planner and Estimator at the Charleston Naval Shipyard.
He is survived by five children: Michael Grier (Julie) of Elloree, SC, Linda Grier Vinneau of North Charleston, SC, Cheryl Johnstone (Yvonne) of Kiawah Island, SC, Lori Marie Sees (Curtis Blackie) of Summerville, SC, Richard Mottinger (Barbara) of North Charleston, SC; sister, Phyllis Willard (Bill Warriner) of Easley, SC; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William "Bill" Grier.
