Rolf Olsen, 77, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Else Pedersen Olsen, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 22, 2013. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glen McConnell Parkway.
Rolf was born June 9, 1936 in Moss, Norway, he was the son of the late Olaf and Helga Johannessen Olsen. He was a retired supervisor with a commercial construction company and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Else Olsen of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Ellen Japarks (John) of Conway, SC and Heidi Ackerman (Allen) of Yonges Island, SC; son, Robert Olsen (Melissa) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
