Roger Grant Richmond, 73, of Hanahan, SC, entered into eternal rest Monday, December 31, 2012.
Mr. Richmond was born May 13, 1939 in Hanford, California, the son of the late Cecil Rexford Richmond and the late Margaret Holland Richmond. He was an eight year veteran of the US Air Force. His career as an automobile mechanic included work at Medical Center Exxon and Harbourview Exxon. He was married to Peggy Kimbel Feltus for 32 years.
He is survived by his son, Richie Richmond (wife, Jessica); three daughters: Angela Richmond, Sydney Pitts, Heather Byrge; grandchildren: Gayla O'Connor, Melissa Richmond, Ryan Carpenter, Shawna Crews, David Pitts, Jamey Graves, Amanda Pitts, Josh Richmond, Savannah Richmond; great grandchildren: John Patrick O'Connor III, Kenneth Carpenter, Sydney O'Connor, Kenzie Crews, Emily Richmond, Blake Richmond, Greyson Carpenter, Kaleb Crews, Tyler Richmond, Zander Richmond and a large extended family in CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Charles Rexford Richmond, Ross L Richmond, and Roy Richmond; sister Sydney Wilson; son in law David Pitts, and great granddaughter Kaitlyn Crews.
