Rodney Gene Wilson

Rodney Gene Wilson, 42, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Stephanie Ann Wilson entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 17, 2022. His memorial service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022,  at J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd., North Charleston, SC, 29406 at 2:00pm.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.  All are welcome to continue with fellowship after the service at 108 Arabian Drive, Summerville, SC, 29483.

Rodney was born September 20, 1980 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Bruce Edward Wilson, Jr. and Alice G. Wilson.  He was a Technician for Terminex for 10 years.  Rodney loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed woodworking and making things for around the house and was hoping to start his own woodworking business.  He was also an excellent cook and was particularly good on the grill, and made a killer ribeye steak!  Rodney was a great support to his children and would attend their sporting events, cheerleading and other activities.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; three children, Pierce, Kayla and Brody Wilson; mother, Alice G. Wilson; one sister, Melody Cashwell Ford and her husband, Rowland; two brothers, Timothy Cashwell and Jeff Wilson and his wife, Theresa. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce.
