Roderick Martin Brown

Roderick Martin Brown, 74, of Hanahan, South Carolina, widower of Sara Frances Brown, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 1, 2022. His Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel,  at 3:00 pm.  The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 pm until the time of service.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Rod was born February 28, 1948 in Orange County, MA, son of the late Rod Brown and Bertha Brown.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.  Rod worked primarily as a Pipefitter, first for the Cummins Diesel Corporation, and then through Civil Service at the Charleston Naval Shipyard.  In his spare time, Rod enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows and "NCIS" was his particular favorite.

He is survived by his son, R. Michael Brown (Devon) of Charleston, SC; daughter, Sonya Elizabeth Gore of Louisville, GA; four grandchildren; James Allen Gore, Sarah Beth Gore, Roderick Mitchell Brown and Anna Lynn Brown; two brothers, Steven and Greg Brown; 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife.
