Roddy Ormand Mullinax, 76, of Ladson, SC husband of the late Loyce Owens Mullinax, died Monday, March 3, 2014. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Saturday, March 8, 2014 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until service time. Burial will be private.

Roddy was born January 20, 1938 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Andrew Mullinax and the late Mattie Drose Mullinax. Roddy grew up in Charleston Heights, graduated from Chicora High School and served in the Army National Guard. He was retired from BBA Aviation, formerly Raybestos Manhattan. He was an avid sportsman, former boxer and he was an Atlanta Braves baseball fan. He bowled for years at Sandpiper Lanes.

He is survived by two daughters, Wendy Windham of Grand Prairie, TX and Leoni Lowry of AR; one brother, Preston Mullinax and his wife Sue of Ravenel, SC; a step-daughter, Sharon W. Richardson; three grandsons: Justin, Jerrod and Joshua Richardson; granddaughter, Shannon Richardson; and good friend, Jeff Richardson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Holladay.
