Throughout her career, Roberta dedicated herself to her work as a secretary and office manager, ultimately serving as the Secretary Treasurer of Anesthesia Associates. Her professionalism and attention to detail made her an invaluable asset to her colleagues, while her warm personality helped to foster a supportive and welcoming environment. Those lucky enough to work alongside her will remember her not just for her skills but for the laughter and kindness she brought to her workplace.
Roberta had a multitude of interests that enriched her life. She found joy in shopping, gardening, and decorating her surroundings, creating spaces that reflected her vibrant spirit. An avid reader, she delighted in learning about history, absorbing the stories of the past and sharing them with others. Her leisure pursuits were a reflection of her generous nature, always eager to share a beautiful flower from her garden or a captivating book with those she loved.
Roberta's family was central to her heart. She is survived by her loving sister, Maude Welsh of Mt. Pleasant, her supportive niece, Susan H Costa of Charleston, and her devoted nephew, Robert Hiott, who along with his wife Teri reside in Caycee. Her legacy continues through her great-niece, Laura Costa of Charleston, and her great-nephew, Max Costa of Denver, Colorado. Each of them carries the love and lessons imparted by Roberta, a woman whose spirit will forever resonate within their lives.
Though her parents have passed on, Roberta's life was a testament to the values they instilled in her-compassion, integrity, and the importance of family. Friends and family will remember Roberta as a beacon of light, whose smart wit and genuine generosity made every gathering brighter and every moment shared more memorable.
