Robert " Bob" James Wilson, 63, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Joyce Elaine Wilson died Saturday, August 30, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow with miilitary honos in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Highway 52, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.
Bob was born March 12, 1951 in Mason Town, Pennsylvania, son of the late Ernest Newton Wilson and the late Isadora Tarr Wilson. Mr. Wilson served in the US Navy, was a S.A.I.C. government contractor, and a member of the American Legion post 166. Bob was also a member of the Forty and Eight voiture 1067 and a life member V.F.W. post 10256.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Elaine Wilson; three daughters, Elizabeth Wilson and Angie Wilson both of Goose Creek, Julie Stukes of Charlotte, NC; two sons, R.J. Wilson and Adam (Amy) McIntire both of Goose Creek; three sisters, Betty Smith, Sheryl Baker, Peggy Rycek and Ruth Devinney, all of Pennsylvania and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson A. J. Haynes and his sister Mary Bucklew.
