Robert Kenneth (Bob) Wilson, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Ethel Cleveland Wilson, entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 10, 2013. His memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Park Circle Presbyterian Church, at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
Bob was born March 31, 1927 in Norfolk, Virginia, son of Melville Charles Wilson and Madeliene C. Wilson. He was a retired Accountant with Stein Hall-Celanese. Bob served in the Navy and was a World War II and Koren War veteran. He was a member of Park Circle Presbyterian Church, a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite, a member of the Omar Shrine Temple and a former member of the Rotary and Optimist Clubs.
He is survived by his wife Ethel of 66 years of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Glenda W. Gillette of Charleston, Bobbie Jean Blackwell (Ed) of Hanahan; three grandchildren, Sarah Morros (Brian), Robert Blackwell (Sarah Nell), Alan Blackwell (Jessica Cope); and two great-grandchildren, Blake Morros and Rilee Morros.
Memorials may be made to Park Circle Presbyterian Church, 4701 Park Place West, North Charleston, SC 29405 and/or a charity of one's choice.
