Robert Van Patten, 49, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Kimberly Van Patten entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 15, 2020. A private memorial service will be held at Hibben United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant, SC on Saturday, August 22, 2020. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mt. Pleasant Chapel.

Robert was born November 2, 1970 in The Dalles, Oregon, son of the late Thomas Van Patten and Marilyn Anthony Van Patten. He was employed with Santee Cooper as a Technical Supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Van Patten, a daughter, Madison Leigh Van Patten; a son, Robert Gray Van Patten, his mother, Marilyn Anthony Van Patten (Justin), his brother Thomas Van Patten (Amy), his sister Michelle Van Patten Crowley (Ron), nieces and nephews Austin Crowley (Charlee); Chet Crowley; Caitlin Van Patten; Gunner Van Patten; Kailey Hayes; Taylor Campbell; great niece Elli Crowley
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hibben United Methodist Church, 690 Coleman Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
