Among his many hobbies, fishing offered him peace and a connection to nature, while his membership in the Phillips Simmons Blacksmith Guild highlighted his appreciation for craftsmanship and tradition. Family was at the heart of Robert's life-he treasured gatherings such as family reunions, embracing these occasions to strengthen bonds and create lasting memories.
In addition to his wife Carole of 53 years, he is survived by children: Randy Stukes (Kima) of Oakland, CA, Thomas Stukes of Charleston, SC, and Scott Stukes (Jodie) of Seattle, WA, grandchildren: Andrew Stukes, Preston Stukes, and Bennett Stukes; siblings: JoAn McDaniel (William) of Mt.
