Robert Joseph Sienkiewicz

Robert "Bob" Joseph Sienkiewicz, 69, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Margaret Yvonne Powers Sienkiewicz entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 26, 2017 surrounded by his wife and children. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 1, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 in Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3075 Bees Ferry Road at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Interment will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC at 1:00 p.m.

Bob was born March 21, 1948 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, son of the late Chester Sienkiewicz and Marion Kornetka Sienkiewicz. He retired after 22 years in the US Air Force, also worked for Lockheed Martin and Dyncorp for 18 years. After retirement he worked at Stono Ferry Golf Course for 6 years as a Marshall. Bob was a member of Crowfield Country Club Golf Course and attended Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Yvonne Sienkiewicz of Goose Creek, SC, daughter, Tracie Leigh Sienkiewicz Rufty (Christopher), son, Troy Allen Sienkiewicz (Janet) all of Surprise, AZ; sister, Ann Marie Petzold of Lewes, DE; brother, Glenn Sienkiewicz of Scranton, PA; six grandchildren, Joel Sienkiewicz, Haley Gnam, Alec Gnam, Trinity Sue Sienkiewicz, Addison Rufty, and Ella Rufty all of Surprise, AZ.
