Robert "Rob" Richard Riordan

Robert Rob Richard Riordan, 53, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 6, 2018. A Liturgical Celebration will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Rob was born July 14, 1964 in Trenton, New Jersey, son of Florence Ward Riordan and the late Robert Richard Riordan. Rob grew up in New Jersey and relocated to Charleston with his parents 30 years ago. Rob faced many physical challenges throughout his life, but he never lost his sense of humor or his love of music and people. He will be greatly missed.

The family is extremely grateful for the care, friendship and love provided by Rob's nurses. They provided him with many opportunities to enjoy his life, whether it was through music, watching movies, or enduring multiple board games, which Rob always won.

He is survived by his mother, Florence Riordan of Charleston, SC, two brothers, Michael Riordan (Bridget) of Atlanta, GA, Timothy Riordan (Tracey) of Bernardsville, NJ; two sisters, Margaret Riordan of Brooklyn, NY and Kathleen Riordan of Brooklyn, NY, his nephew Jack and nieces Jesse and Colleen.
