Robert Allen Redmond, Jr., 71, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Susan Williams Redmond died Saturday, November 11, 2017. A Gathering of Friends will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 pm.

Robert was born September 2, 1946 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Robert Allen Redmond and the late Ollie Mae Myers Redmond. He was a retired government contractor at Charleston Air Force Base. Robert was a member of Christ Church in Mt. Pleasant. He was a former Mason and Shriner. A long time coach for Northwoods Recreation Department, he also enjoyed fishing, boating and shrimping.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan Redmond; three sons: Mike Keller of Ponte Vedra, FL; Stephen Russell of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Trae Redmond of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren: Ryan Keller, Ian Keller, Matthew Russell, Adam Russell, Grady Redmond, Katherine Redmond, Stephen Russell, and Luke Russell; sister, Faye Hutson of Moncks Corner, SC. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Keller.
