Robert Grey Pillow, Sr., 66, of Summerville, SC, died Thursday, December 7, 2017. His memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Robert was born January 10, 1951 in Charleston, SC, son of the late William K. Pillow and the late Dorothy Glover Pillow. Bob was a graduate of Georgia Tech University and worked at Navalex in Electronics Communication. He was a longtime member of North Charleston United Methodist Church where he served as the Sound and HVAC technician.
He is survived by his son, Robert G. Pillow, Jr. of Ladson, SC; daughter, Melissa Anne Pillow of Madrid, Spain; brother, William K. "Pete" Pillow of Irmo, SC; and grandchildren, Adrian and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Mary Flynn Pillow.
Memorials may be made to Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.
