Robert Miller

Entered into eternal rest the morning of Tuesday, November 9, 2010, Robert Miller widower of Inez Julia Miller.  Residence, Johns Island, South Carolina.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service  at Ashley River Baptist Church, Friday, November 12, 2010 at eleven o'clock. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday evening from five until seven o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Foundation, 190 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.

Born May 3, 1923 in Charleston, SC, Robert was the son of Robert Miller, Sr. and Wilhemina Kilgus Miller.  He was a Supply Specialist Supervisor at the Charleston Naval Shipyard for twenty years. He was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son: E.E. Wigger: granddaughters: Julia Hodges Gough,  Donna Gailor, Teresa Hodges,and Starra Wigger; grandson: Robert Hodges; great grandchildren: Kenneth Hodges, Corbit Hodges, Taylor Hodges and Tessa Wigger; a sister: May Choo.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Inez Julia Hodges.
