Robert Joseph Marangelli

TSG Robert "Bob" Joseph Marangelli, USAF Ret., 77, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his home under hospice care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Seacoast Christian Community Church in the chapel, 750 Long Point Road at 11:00 am. Burial and graveside service with military honors will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Robert was born April 24, 1938 in White Plains, New York, son of the late Vincenzo Marangelli and the late Antonina Raia Marangelli. He graduated from McKee Vocational and Technical High School in NY. He received an Associate Degree in Business Management from Trident Technical College. Robert retired from the USAF as an Avionics Technician and also from civil service having worked at the Polaris Missile Facility Atlantic (POMFLANT). Robert enjoyed sports, photography and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Marangelli; son, Bobby Marangelli (Sheri) of Goose Creek; two grandchildren, Michael and Marissa; and brother Tommy Caltabewllotta of Parksville, NY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Denton Marangelli.
