Robert M. Terry, Jr., 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of the late Elaine Cox Terry, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 27, 2020. His Funeral Service will be held at the graveside, Thursday December 31, 2020 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 11:00 a.m.. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy. from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Robert was born November 21, 1941 in Sumter, South Carolina, son of the late Robert Maxwell Terry and Helen Workman Terry. He was a Custom Cabinet Maker and owner of T B & T Woodworking. Robert was a former of the American Legion and The Masonic Order. He was a life member of The Billfish Foundation.
Robert is survived by his son, Robert M. Terry III of Charleston, SC; his daughter, Catherine Ann Terry of Charleston, SC and his sister, Betty Geddings of Sumter, SC and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Terry.
