Robert "Rob" A. Knox, 58, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away at his home on September 27, 2022, after a long, brave battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, animal lover, and talented Chef who worked in several Charleston restaurants. Rob loved to create and share unique hot sauces from homegrown hot peppers. Some of his favorite times were spent near the Charleston coastal waters with his wife, just enjoying the scenery and a refreshing beverage.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Pamela, of Charleston, SC; his mother, Johanna Knox, of Westerville, OH; his sister, Patricia Nelson (Steve), of New Albany, Ohio; his niece, Katie Orsini (Nate), of Johnstown, Ohio; great nephew, Owen Orsini, and great niece, Anna Orsini, both of Johnstown, Ohio. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Knox.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Stuhr’s West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lutheran Hospice or the Charleston Animal Society.
