Robert B. Johnson, 79, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Geraldine Sedlacek Johnson, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 9, 2014. His funeral service will be held Monday, July 21, 2014, at Grace Episcopal Church at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Grace Church Columbarium. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Robert was born August 16, 1934 in Bay Shore, NY, son of Francis Butler Johnson and Charlotte Bishop Johnson. He was the retired owner and manager of Babylon Plumbing and Heating Supply Corporation in Babylon, NY. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. He was a graduate of Bucknell University and the Army's Command General Staff College, served in the US Army in Korea and retired as a Colonel.

He is survived by his wife, Gerry, of North Charleston, SC; daughters, Margretta A. Johnson-Sally (Patrick) of Commack, NY and Kimberly L. Furey (Conall) of Lilburn, GA; grandchildren, Sean Robert Johnson-Sally, Kelly Rose Johnson-Sally, and Brianna Sarah Furey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "Home to Grace, In Memory of Bob Johnson," Grace Episcopal Church, 98 Wentworth St., Charleston, SC 29401 or Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Rd., Charleston, SC 29412.
