Lee was born March 16, 1925 in Branchville, SC, son of the late William Thomas Johnson and Mary Sims Johnson. Lee embraced life with the same enthusiasm as he embraced his family. He lived by the Ten Commandments and encouraged others to do so as well. He was a retired Gas Turbine Superintendent for SCE&G. He was also a Past Master of James Island Lodge #396 A.F.M.
