Robert Norman Hunt

Robert Norman Hunt, 80, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Ingrid Kroger Hunt entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 2, 2017. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 5, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held at the graveside Monday in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 2:00 p.m.

Robert was born March 27, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of the late Norman and Elsa Hunt. He was a USN Veteran and was a shipmate aboard the USS Affray. He was a retired Medical Technician. Robert was a Mason, former member for many years of the Omar Shrine Temple Band and played with the Bill Herrmann's Band. He was an avid Train and Stamp Collector. Robert was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church

Bob is survived by his two daughters, Michele H. Bridgers of Lexington, SC, Ruth Ann H. Dean of Johns Island, SC; son, Gregory Norman Hunt (Jen) of Norfolk, VA; five grandchildren, Casey Burnsed, Katy Lee Guertin (Matt), Austin Dean, Garret Dean, Gabriel Hunt; three great-grandchildren, John, Violet, and Mason.

Memorials may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 712 Wappoo Road. Charleston, SC 29407.
