Robert Louis Goodale

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of August 9, 2010, Sergeant First Class Robert Louis Goodale Jr., USA (Retired), husband of Mary Francis Goodale.  Residence, Adams Run, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Goodale are invited to attend his funeral services at Christ - St. Paul's Parish, Friday, August 13, 2010 at ten a.m..  Burial will follow in Christ - St. Paul's Churchyard with military honors.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday evening from six until eight o'clock. 

Mr. Goodale was born on April 29, 1958 in Charleston, SC, son of Robert Louis Goodale Sr. and Dorothy Esther Phillips Goodale.  He was a retired Sergeant First Class U.S. Army veteran and served in two very special units of the 350^th Medical Company and the 3^rd Infantry Division.  Robbie was a member of Christ - St. Paul's Parish.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather (Poppies) and will be greatly missed. 

Surviving are his parents Robert and Dorothy Goodale of Johns Island; his wife Mary of Adams Run; son, Robert Louis Goodale III and daughter, Christine Goodale-Ramirez both of Adams Run; three brothers, Shawn Michael Goodale of North Charleston, Jeffrey Scott Goodale of Charleston and Phillip Raymond Goodale of Hollywood; three granddaughters, Cecilia Rochele Ramirez, Jacqueline Elizabeth Goodale, and Mauriana D-Lynn Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Included among family are two special aunts, Keturah Watson and Shirley Kilgore.
