Robert J. Edwards, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Grethe Dahl Edwards, died Saturday, October 27, 2012. Funeral and Burial Services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Mr. Edwards was born March 12, 1936 in Charleston, SC. He was the son of the late Clarence Earl Edwards and of the late Fairy Nell Tillery Edwards. He was retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard.
He is survived by his wife, Grethe Edwards of Charleston, SC; son, Robert Martin Edwards of Beaufort, SC; daughter, Nanette Solveig Edwards of Columbia, SC; a brother, Donald Edwards of Charleston, SC; a sister, JoAnn Dowling of Morganton, NC; two grandchildren, Bergen and Satine Edwards.
