Robert "Bobby" John Conklin, Sr.

Robert "Bobby" John Conklin, Sr., husband of the late Linda Creech Conklin, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the age of 81. A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM. at East Cooper Outboard Motor Club "Goldbug Island", 1560 Ben Sawyer Blvd., Mount Pleasant SC 29464. A Celebration of Life will follow starting at 3:00PM, followed by the inurnment at 4:30 pm at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.

Bobby graduated from the University of South Carolina where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Following graduation he served four years in the U.S. Army, which instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and commitment that he carried into his career as the owner of Carolina Acoustical and Drywall. As a business man, Bobby became known for his strong work ethic and integrity within the construction field, earning the respect of many in his local community.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly Anne Conklin Farmer and Robert John Conklin, Jr., along with his grandchild, Charles Hunter Farmer. Bobby is also survived by his sister, Mary Oliver and brother-in-law, William Creech, II as well as and many nieces and nephews.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Conklin and Thelma Wohlers Conklin, as well as his wife, Linda Creech Conklin.
