Robert Michael Bowey

Robert "Bobby" Michael Bowey, 70, of Indian Land, SC, and former longtime resident of Charleston, SC, died Monday, September 4, 2017. His memorial service will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Bobby was born February 15, 1947 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Wardie Fenwick Bowey and the late Bessie Mae Cook Bowey. He was a graduate of R.B. Stall High School and The Citadel. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Lions Club.

He is survived by sister, Cheryl Davis (Jerry) of Indian Land, SC; brother, David Bowey (Terri Hankins Bowey) of Ladson, SC; two nieces, April Aldridge (Thomas) of Hartsville, SC and Kelly Yates (Josh) of Fort Mill, SC. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Christopher Bowey.
