Robert "Bob" Marshall Scott, Jr.

Bob Scott,75, of Seabrook Island, South Carolina, husband of Sandy Scott entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 1, 2018. A Celebration of His Life will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Seabrook Island County Club from 4:00 until 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated in Philadelphia, PA with his Philadelphia family and friends on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Bob was born August 14, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Robert Marshall Scott, Sr. and the late Joanne Kelly Scott. Bob Spent the first 53 years of his life in Philadelphia, where he attended Holy Cross elementary school in Mt Airy, PA, St Joseph's Prep and St Joseph's University in Philadelphia. Upon completely his education, Bob began his career as an accountant in Philadelphia where he quickly built a reputation for being a solid financial planner in the banking industry. He spent 27 years in the Philadelphia banking world and in 1996 moved to Mount Pleasant, SC where he subsequently became one of the founders of South Coast Community Bank. Bob retired in 2016 and quickly adapted to his new southern gentleman role.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandy Scott of Seabrook Island, SC; two daughters, Anne Scott Levins (Jon-Paul) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Lisa Scott Rose of Lafayette Hill, PA; grandchildren, Ryan, Emily and Hailey Levins of Mt. Pleasant, Jordan and Sierra Rose of Lafayette Hill, PA; sister, Jody Kyle of Blue Bell, PA; brother, Andy Scott (Amy) of Amelia Island, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
