Robert Andrew Aldridge

Robert Andrew "Bob" Aldridge, 76, of Seabrook Island, South Carolina, husband of Diane Jane Blumentritt Aldridge, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 18, 2016. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3871 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, at 11:00 a.m. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Holy Spirit Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, April 22, 2016, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Bob was born September 11, 1939 in Melrose, Minnesota, son of the late Robert Earl Aldridge and Marie Haider Aldridge. He was a graduate of St. Thomas University, St. Paul, MN, and a veteran of the U.S Army Reserves. Bob was a longtime resident of Cortlandt Manor, NY. Bob retired from Kobrand Corp as CEO after thirty one years of service and continued to remain on the Board of Directors through 2014. He was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and volunteered at St. Christopher's Inn at Graymoor, NY. Bob was also a member of the Kiawah/Seabrook Exchange Club.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane Jane Aldridge of Seabrook Island, SC; three daughters: Ann Marie Kelly (David) of Williamsville, NY, Melissa Aldridge of Fairfield, CT, and Carolyn Watkins (Tim) of Tewksbury, MA; son, Robert John Aldridge (Tracey) of Santa Rosa, CA; three brothers: Thomas Aldridge (Shirley) of Blaine, MN, Bruce Aldridge (Sharon) of Worcester, MA, and Mark Aldridge (Jacki) of Lillydale, MN; sister-in-law, Nancy Schmid of Inver Grove Heights, MN; eight grandchildren: Jack, Elena, Diana, James, Annika, Abigail, Emily, and Natalie and a beloved pet, Ollie.
