Robbie Earl Peebles, 99, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 19, 2026. He is survived by his wife Becky of 77 years, their daughter Susan Crosby, their son in law, Robert Crosby, several nieces and nephews. He had many “adopted” children that he and his wife loved very much. Each one young and old had a very special place in his life. He was “Pop” to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie and Mattie Lou Peebles, one infant daughter and three infant sons; three sisters, Dorthy Brown (Tollie), Thelma Ruth Williams (Bud), Barbara Ann Shuman (Charlie); and one brother Deareld Peebles.

He was one of the original owners of Earl’s Body Shop in Beaufort, SC, and retired ordained Assemblies of God minister. He loved to preach sing about the love of God.

He will missed by so many but will be remembered for the enjoyment, love and laughter he brought to those who knew him. He was a man of integrity and had a serving spirit to God and others. He loved people and his famous saying, “I feel better now that I have see you.”

The Celebration of Life will be held at Charleston First Assembly on October 23 at 12:00. The visitation will begin at 11:00. The interment will follow at Live Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to:
