Rita was born October 31, 1936 in Bronx, New York, daughter of the late Michael Kluger and Lilian Schles Kluger. Rita was an avid volunteer with numerous charities, such as, but not limited to the Charleston Animal Society, Gaillard Auditorium, American Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, Charlestowne Landing, and many groups associated with Synagogue Emanu-El. She loved dearly her two sons, their spouses, her grandchildren, and so many other relatives and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Busman and his wife, Dianne and Sander Busman and his wife, Media; along with her grandchildren, David Busman, Lauren Busman, Melinda Busman, and Kate Busman. In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Irwin Busman.
