Riddick Leonard Stanfield

Riddick Leonard Stanfield, 75, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Joyce Mizzel Stanfield entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 15, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday May17, 2016 in First Baptist Church of Ravenel, 5987 Hwy 165, Ravenel, SC 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in First Baptist Church of Ravenel Churchyard. The family will receive friends J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Riddick was born August 31, 1940 in Green Pond, South Carolina, son of the late James Willie Stanfield and Ida Benton Stanfield. He was a retired welder with Maccalloy Steel Plant. Riddick was a member of the SC National Guard, and First Baptist Church of Ravenel.

He is survived by his daughter, Ida Renee Stanfield of Charleston, SC; son, Willie Theodore Stanfield of Bluffton, SC; two sisters, Margaret Blocker of Walterboro, SC, and Patricia Williamson of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
