Ricki Ann Shumard, 66, of Ladson, SC, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. Officiated by Reverend Leonard C. Ripley III. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Family, friends and others whose lives Ricki touched are invited to attend to reminisce, grieve and support each other.

Ricki was born October 1, 1951 in Franklin, IN, daughter of the late Paul Edward Bridgewater and the late Elsie Ilene Cochran Bridgewater. Ricki was kindhearted, humble and selfless to all she knew. She lived life through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family and watching Turner Classic Movie Channel (her favorite). Family and friends were her passion. She will be remembered as a bright, shining light of love. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. She lived the life she intended to live.

Ricki is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Crystal L. Shumard of Walterboro, SC; three sons: William D. Shumard, Jr. of Goose Creek, SC, Paul E. Shumard (Elaina) of Summerville, SC and Michael A. Shumard of Seymour, IN; eight grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters all of Seymour, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
