Richard Allen Wooden

Richard "Ric" Allen Wooden, Jr., 62, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 28, 2019. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 1, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Ric was born July 30, 1956 in Fort Eustis, Virginia, son of Richard Allen Wooden, Sr., and Alice DeFord Wooden. He restored and painted homes in the Downtown Charleston area as a self-employed contractor. Ric enjoyed being outdoors, boating and skiing. He loved listening to the 70's music and antique cars. He was a member of Seacoast Church-West Ashley Campus.

He is survived by his parents, Richard Allen Wooden, Sr., and Alice Eloise Wooden, sister Sharon Self (Jack); nieces, Angela Self, Jennifer Dickey (Charles) and great-niece, Annalisa; two great-nephews Aidan and Bryce, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at MUSC for their excellent care during his long hospital stay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seacoast Church - West Ashley, 2049 Savannah Highway, Ste. H, Charleston, SC 29407 and/or a Charity of one's choice.
