Richard Lee Waggoner

Richard Lee Waggoner, 63, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Judy Ballard Waggoner died Thursday, June 18, 2015. A Celebration of His Life will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at East Cooper Baptist Church, 361 Egypt Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at East Cooper Baptist Church. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Richard was born January 15, 1952 in Bluefield, West Virginia, son of the late William D. Waggoner and the late Jean Story Waggoner. He was the retired CEO of Rental Uniform Service of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy Waggoner of Mount Pleasant, SC; two sons, Ryan Waggoner and Christopher Waggoner and his wife, Kait, both of Mount Pleasant, SC; one grandson, Noah James Waggoner of Mount Pleasant, SC; daughter, Laura Tischler of Clinton, SC; two sisters, Judith Bourne of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Elizabeth Holder of Aiken, SC; and one brother, Jeffrey Waggoner of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jay Waggoner and David Waggoner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Cooper Baptist Church "Building Fund", 361 Egypt Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 or to a charity of one's choice.
